  • 'Naruto the Movie 3' USA Version Released, Plus New 'Naruto' Xbox 360 Game Preview Launched - Sat, 15 Nov 2008

NarutoAfter the success of the original Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom, Cartoon Network has picked up and developed its English version.  It aired a few days ago on the channel's Action Flicks block, much to the delight of fans.  The second theatrical production, Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel, had just premiered last July.  It became a pleasant surprise to see the third movie following closely in the footsteps of its predecessor. 

Last Tuesday, the DVD version of Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon was shipped to North America as well.  The film continues the tale of the protagonist, Naruto, and his fellow ninjas, Kakashi, Sakura and Rock Lee.  Assigned to protect the Land of the Moon's prince, the group goes on a quest that will change their fate in the hands of royalty. Read More

  • VIZ Media To Release 'Naruto the Movie 3' DVD this Month - Thu, 06 Nov 2008

narutoJust in time for the holiday season, VIZ Media has set the DVD release date for Naruto the Movie 3: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom.  The third theatrical installment of Naruto sees a lighthearted adventure for the young shinobi and his friends as they are given a fairly easy mission: to guard Prince Michiru and his son Hikaru back to their home, the Land of the Moon.

  • 'Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2' Now Available - Thu, 30 Oct 2008

narutoFour months ago, BuddyTV reported that TOMY Corporation and D3Publisher of America, Inc. have teamed up to release a Naruto game based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto with an anime adaptation that is designed specifically for Wii.  You can read more about it in this previous article.  Fans will be pleased to know that the game, which is called Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2, is now available at retails stores across all of North America.

Though TOMY has created a brand new storyline specifically for the game as it deals with the special assassination squad Anbu, it is still overflowing with Naruto action that players and viewers have grown to love.  Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 features 35 selectable characters with the storyline taking place after Sasuke leaves the Hidden Leaf Village on his pursuit to become the evil Orochimaru's protégé in attempt to increase his strength to accomplish his greatest desire.Read More

narutoThe ultimate ninja guide is back!  VIZ Media, the company responsible for distributing Naruto merchandise all over the United States, has just released the highly anticipated Naruto Collector winter 2008/2009 edition.  First released on Tuesday, October 21, the magazine features scoop on the new Naruto video game releases for Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and DS.

Aside from video game updates, the Naruto Collector winter edition also includes massive coverage of the manga, anime and the card game.  Moreover, it also comes with training puzzles for aspiring ninjas and a manga chapter with Naruto all grown up.Read More

Good news for Naruto fans and Wii players out there.  TOMY Corporation and D3Publisher of America, Inc. has teamed up to release yet another fun-filled Naruto game.  D3, the publishers of interactive entertainment software, has recently announced that they have completed "Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution 2," a fighting game designed specifically for the Wii.

The game, which is the first ever Naruto Wii title aimed at the North American audience, is jam-packed with all the Naruto goodness that player and viewers have grown to love.Read More

  • Viz Media Set to Release More 'Naruto' Merchandise - Wed, 28 May 2008

If you’re a Naruto fan and cannot wait to get your hands on some collectibles, then you must be happy to know that a bunch of Naruto DVDs are coming your way later this year.  In fact, Viz Media, the company responsible for distributing Naruto merchandise all over the United States, has recently announced the release dates of volumes 27 and 28 of the Naruto DVD.

Volume 27 is set to be released on September 2, while Volume 28 is set to be released on September 30.  Both discs cost $19.98 each. Moreover, the box set for the uncut Volume 10 will be available in retail stores beginning October 14 this year.  The uncut Volume 10 DVD will come in two types—the regular edition, which costs $49.98, and the special edition, which retails for $69.98.Read More

  • 'Naruto': Path of the Ninja 2 to Be Released Later This Year - Wed, 14 May 2008

Naruto fans and Nintendo gamers gear up for the newest wave of RPG games is about to hit retail stores later this year.  Based on the anime series of the same name, Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 is the sequel to last year’s Nintendo DS game released by D3Publisher.  The games are developed by Tomy Corporation, which also released games such as Naruto: Ninja Destiny in February 2008.

“It’s been gratifying to see the Naruto brand grow and evolve with each new iteration,” D3PA Vice President for Marketing Alison Quirion said in a statement for the Naruto: Ninja Destiny.  “As fans of the series ourselves, we are always looking to bring NARUTO to broader audiences and introduce new ways to bring these amazing characters to life.”Read More

  • Naruto: More Mystery and Adventure in the Upcoming Episodes - Wed, 07 May 2008

Previously on Naruto, we saw our young ninja encounter some very suspicious individuals on his journey to find and exterminate the ghost Noroimusha. In Episode 7.160, “Hunt or Be Hunted?! Showdown at the O.K. Temple,” Naruto met another bounty hunter who is in search of Gosunkugi. Naruto also found out that Sazanami was not being true to who he was. In fact, he was a framed up criminal named Tokichi, who was wanted for a crime involving a family of three. Naruto eventually finds out that he's innocent, and that he was on his journey to find the real killer to clear his name. Sazanami finally joined the Konoha group in their efforts to stop Gosunkugi. However, their plans were challenged as another bounty hunter stepped in the way.
